"Throughout your life, meet as many people as you possibly can. You have no idea how much goodness and opportunity you will come by. Always keep in touch with everyone. The good ones will stay close by and those will be the ones who help you through anything and everything that you will ever need. In the instance that you lose someone for some reason, if it was meant to be that that person is supposed to be with you in your journey, they will somehow someway rejoin you again."

"They say that "a mind is like a parachute, it only works when open". Now while this is true to a certain degree, a parachute too open has no control. And as any good parachutist will tell, it will eventually crash and burn to the ground. For you see, it is the strings that control the parachute and allow it to take form and have substance. So just be careful, though, of who controls the strings."

--- David Borsky --- Submitted by D. Kracker --- Australia
David Borsky is one of the most inspirational people I know. Living out of a small house in Yea, a tiny town in the outer areas of Victoria, David was born with an inability to use the left side of his body. Nevertheless, he never took a negative attitude towards life. Training his right side alone, he learned to ski on the nearby mountain (Mt. Buller) and now helps young kids with disabilities learn to ski. He deserves far more praise than he is given. This is my small attempt to immortalize this great man!

Like a newborn babe before it learns to smile, I am alone without a place to go." --- Lao Tsu Chapter 20 Tao Te Ching --- Although it's intended to be interpretational, it's obviously depressing. It inspired me to write a quote that addresses the human condition to question our own existence (too much).

"
We are born into the world, like a blank canvas
And every person that crosses our path
Takes up the brush
And makes their mark upon our surface
So it is that we develop . . .
But we must realize, there comes a day
That we must take up the brush . . .
And finish the work
For only we can determine
If we are to be just another painting . . .
Or a masterpiece
