Trusting the Quiet Voice Within
I am open to the intuitive messages that come to me throughout the day.
There is a power that flows through us that can't be learned and is always available for our use. It often comes in the form of a hunch or a feeling. And if we follow it, we have clarity about a situation that can help any noble cause move forward.
A friend of mine was leading a workshop at a corporation. As she was getting ready to leave her house for the seminar, something inside her said, turn on the television, which she did. A local news anchor had just announced personnel cuts at that corporation: 10,000 employees were to lose their jobs. This invaluable information helped her prepare to meet the workshop participants.
These intuitive messages are always available to us if we get still enough to listen for them. Quieting our minds is an important discipline. It enables us to be guided by the truth and to be of service to others in times of stress.
Today's affirmation: Let me get still enough to listen for the intuitive messages that come from my higher power.
