Writer's Block? Here's An Idea

Winning the Battle Against Writer's Block One Photo At A Time
Earlier this year, I became a victim of Writer's Block. Of course, it struck whilst I was in the midst of re-branding my blog and brainstorming ideas for other writing projects.I tried reading books, meditating, writing in a journal, listening to classical music, but nothing seemed to work. The stress of not being able to write began taking its toll on both me. Writing brings me to apeaceful space and not being able to do so felt utterly devastating.
One day, I strolled down to a nearby pier and sat on a bench for about 30 minutes. I watched tourists amble by laden with bags and goofy grins pasted onto their faces. Seagulls squalled all around me and Iinstinctively covered my head just in case they decided to fly lower than usual.
In front of me , the harbor water shimmered and I found myself reaching for my cell phone to snap a photo of it. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw noticed boats off in the distance and I snapped a couple more photos.
An hour later, I was at home furiously typing up a blog post which centered around one of the photos which I snapped at the pier earlier that afternoon. I was reminded that day of how sometimes the bestway to conjure up the Writing Muse is to leave one's parlor and venture out into the world.
