"All Pain Will End."
Written in 2002 by Douglas Hill --- California
How powerful is that? I grew up in a broken family and had a hard road growing up. I mended this quote from different teachings and points of view in the Bible.

I'm running from this problem,
Distancing myself from its scare,
The power to solve, to repair myself - its there,
But seems like all I'm doing -
Is turning away, while it continues to stare...
I need to resist, to keep up the fight,
This is not a problem - that one can solve overnight,
I will try and try again, till this devil does die,
Only then can I face my conscience, and rid myself of this plight.

One needs to struggle, one needs to cry,
Sufferings and pain - they're opportunities that come by -
To appreciate the joy and energy of life,
If there was no sadness, then how could joy be defined?
For you to improve - to get better at anything you want,
You need to have courage, and do what you think you can't,
I have the inner strength - it is sealed inside,
It gives off an aura - of unprecedented might,
I'm even given the key, what else can god provide?
Now it's up to me, this battle is only mine...

"When in doubt, you begin to ask yourself, "Where do I go?" The answer lies within your eternal enlightened seed. There is no other place to look - not up, not down, not at the paycheck on the 1st and 15th, not in chapel with a man behind a shield. Do not look in a textbook filled with alterations by man over and over for thousands of years... look within yourself and look within your heart. Become at peace with yourself and those around you and the answer will find it's way into the very palm of your hand."

"Those who live in the past cannot face the present or the future. Those who worry about the future never relax in the present. Those who are careless about the present have a rough or even no future at all. So, which one are you? In all of them they lack something and all hold a common trait. They lack courage to move on to reach for the future, faith to trust that they have a future, and ambition to do something with their lives for their future. Their common trait is this: None of them can control how their future will turn out. I, however, have no worries about my future, no longer hold on to the past, or am careless about the present. This is because I trust solely in... GOD!"

This is my opinion about how people tend to act and more importantly how I know that God is in control of my life. I don't have to worry because my future is intact. I can focus on today instead of the past or the future!!!

"A hundred times every day I remind myself that my inner and outer life depend upon the labors of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the measure as I have received and am still receiving."

"I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality. I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word."

"I believe this life we live is an incredibly intricate, beautifully choreographed dance. Our job is to admit that we sometimes don't know all the steps. When we say 'I surrender' and we relinquish control and let the universe take the lead and we follow, the dance of life becomes effortless. Spiritually, surrender is a mark of strength and not a moment of weakness."

"Theologians have battled the reason for pain and suffering for centuries and have yet to come up with compelling reasons that fully satisfy those who are hurting. But for me, it has been reduced to one simple explanation: healing is temporal but grace is eternal. Given a choice, I will take grace every time."

Trust God. Whatever has happened and will happen will be as per God Almighty's wish. Keep doing what you believe in and trust the Lord to show you the way, even in darker times of life.

When I asked God for strength
He gave me difficult situations to face

When I asked God for brain & brawn
He gave me puzzles in life to solve

When I asked God for happiness
He showed me some unhappy people

When I asked God for wealth
He showed me how to work hard

When I asked God for favors
He showed me opportunities to work hard

When I asked God for peace
He showed me how to help others

God gave me nothing I wanted
He gave me everything I needed

"I walk with success, not with pride. I talk through my actions and through my pain I cry. When I ask God why, he answers through a blessing where the reflection is me, and that's his reply."

I made up this phrase because I saw myself motivating everyone but myself. Around this time, things kinda went downhill, but I continuously prayed and asked God why it seemed like I was just standing on a deserted island alone? I asked for him to bless me. He showed me that the blessing was myself and I have to have faith and so do you.
