I love country music and CMT. I was watching a special on Rascal Flatts and the lead singer Gary was talking about this quote. I think of it and it reminds me of how many times it's true. No curve has brought me to complete and utter failure or otherwise. I hope it helps all the teens who have a lot of curves to get through.

I always think of this quote before I swim. It reminds me that I will go through pain during my race, but it will hurt me a lot worse to look back and know that I could have done better. It really helps me to remember that swimming is my passion and it is in my blood. Remember, you can take the swimmer out of the water, but you can't take the water out of the swimmer.

I told myself this when I did not place at state this spring but I was still going to nationals. I then thought that this was my chance to do better and to succeed in what I needed to succeed in.

I was blown out when I saw this quote. I think it's true because love knows more than we do. It's just so amazing to know that love heals us from all blindness. We know there is beauty behind stuff when we realize we are in love. Nobody is ugly and everybody deserves to be loved.

I didn't hear that voice again after that. I began realizing that voice was me and realizing I didn't know myself. Be yourself! He didn't know himself because he wasn't acting like himself/herself. Be true to your heart. If people can't accept that, they can't accept themselves.
