WONDER WOMAN

Mom you're truly special, a gift from God above
You're a person filled to the brim with compassion, kindness and love
You given up your weekends, weekdays, and weeknights
And still I try to push my luck and we end up getting in fights

I know I don't tell you I love you nearly enough as I should
But Mom I think of you everyday, like any daughter would
Sometimes my please and thank yous come few and far between
But Mom I'm thankful for everything I get, you treat me like a queen

You've been there through the "boo-boos" and soon through the boys and the breakups
And even though sometimes I lose faith in myself, you just never give up
I know you do a million things for me every single day
Mom you're like wonder woman and I thank God every time I pray

I know I'm not your little angel that does everything like I'm supposed to
So Mom I am sorry for any pain I have ever caused you
And now because I'm getting older we see each other less and less
Just know that I love you Mom, you're the absolute best!
