During this holiday season, we tend to get caught up in the hype and stress ourselves out. Do you want a quick way to de-stress? Spend time helping others. Spend time with someone you know or someone you have yet to have the pleasure of meeting.

Many people are alone during the holidays and wouldn't consider asking for your time or help because of pride or how they were raised. You know who they are.

Could you find a way to spend an hour with them to help them through the day? By offering the gift of friendship and time spent, you will impact their life and yours.

The more you give of yourself, the more you will receive in return. It may come to you in ways you never expected, or it may come to you just as you imagined.

Either way, I know that when you give unselfishly and freely, your heart leaps, and the stresses in your life seem to become smaller.

So please consider what I am saying; consider spending time, our most precious commodity, helping others.
