Undiscovered Joys
There is joy in doing a job well done. Be proud of yourself when you do it to the best of your ability. You gave it all. So often, if we are not an expert in what we are attempting, so miss the significance of doing it. If we only try to do things we are familiar with or good at, we leave much of life on the table.
Stretching ourselves beyond our comfort zone will initially seem uncomfortable. That's natural; we are creatures of habit. The reward comes not from other individuals but from within us.
When we can recognize the value of doing a job to the best of our ability, no matter what it is, we will be more eager to try something new. Even though we may fail to become the expert, does it matter? You are a winner if you are happy because you performed the best you could.
