Maybe They're Still Saying Something
Today, are you looking back and noticing how you changed because you adapted?
Sometimes I think about certain moments from years ago. It's odd... they don't seem very important until one day they quietly return for no obvious reason.
I usually sit with them for a while before I realize why they came back.
Lately, I've noticed something they seem to have in common.
Each one reminds me of a time when life changed, whether I wanted it to or not. Looking back, I can't even remember when things started feeling normal again. I just know that one day they did.
Maybe that's why those memories still visit me.
They aren't reminding me of what I lost.
They're reminding me that I adapted.
