The Messages We Carry
Sometimes, we don't realize an old message is still guiding us.
Have you ever noticed how easy it is to take care of everyone else and somehow put yourself last?
I started wondering why we do that.
For me, I think some of it goes back a long way.
Growing up, I had younger siblings to look after.
Somewhere along the way, maybe I learned that being there for other people was what I was supposed to do.
But here's the part that caught me.
I don't remember stopping to ask if that message still belonged in my life.

Something you learned early that became so familiar you stopped questioning it.
And maybe taking care of yourself can feel uncomfortable, even when you know you need it.
What if the way you learned to care for others was never meant to mean putting yourself aside?
I wonder what would happen if you gave yourself the same patience and care you so naturally give to the people you love.
