Where Are You?

Life happens fast when we're looking somewhere else.

Where do we really live?

Not yesterday. Not tomorrow. We live in today.

Yet how often do we miss it? Our minds drift to what happened, what should've happened, or what might happen next. Meanwhile, the only moment we can actually do something with quietly slips by.

I've caught myself doing it. So focused on what's ahead or looking back at what can't be changed that I forget what's right in front of me.

Maybe that's why so many days seem to disappear so quickly.

Life isn't waiting somewhere down the road. It's happening in the conversation you're having, the choice you're making, the effort you're giving, and the person you're being right now.

Today may not be perfect. It may not look the way you hoped. But it's still yours.

So here's something worth thinking about: Are you fully living in today, or have you been spending too much time somewhere else?
