Words Are Important, Especially What You Say To Yourself

I believe that what Lee Iacocca said is right: Perseverance.

And really, that's the whole point, isn't it?

The way you talk to yourself shapes whether you keep going or give up halfway through. If you tell yourself it's too hard, your mind believes you. But if you say, "I can figure this out. I can take one more step," then you give yourself the strength to keep moving.

So, let me ask you; what are you saying to yourself right now? Are you reinforcing your doubts, or are you reinforcing your dreams? Every word you speak to yourself plants a seed. Water the right ones.

Keep reminding yourself, out loud if you have to. Because the more you repeat it, the more you start to believe it. And belief is what fuels action.
