Getting to Know Yourself

It's not always as easy as we might think.

Life can be hard. I've had some really tough times in my life. There were moments when I honestly didn't know how things were going to work out.

And then there are times when something gets under my skin, and I don't respond the way I wish I had. I know better, but that doesn't mean I always get it right.

Have you ever had one of those moments when you find yourself reacting to something and then wonder why you let it get to you?

I have. And I've actually wondered where my emotional intelligence went when I needed it most.

I guess getting to know yourself is an ongoing experience. There's always something that surprises you.

Love and blessings,

Marlene
