Have you ever heard someone say, "You'll only see what you want to see "? I have, and the truth is, they are right.
Most of the time, we see exactly what we are looking for. If we are in a negative mood, we can find something wrong in every situation. If our mood is positive, we naturally look for what is good and helpful.
Norman Vincent Peale believed so firmly in possibilities, and perhaps that was his great secret to success. He wrote a powerful classic, "The Power Of Positive Thinking " in 1952, and it is evergreen and relevant even today. If you have never heard of him or read any of his books, I would encourage you to do so. His writings have been a part of my adult life, starting in my late teens.
