Live Your Life Today, Not Tomorrow
I thought I would live forever when I was young, and my friends would too. As I grew older, I started to realize that the myth in my head wasn't true. We all have a specific amount of time here. Are we living in yesterday or tomorrow and forgetting what's important now? Today is what we get, period. And if we get a tomorrow, I consider it a bonus.
Depending on your circumstances, you might not be able to do all you wanted to, but you can choose to be happy today. Life continues whether we jump on board every day as a wild-eyed adventurer or as a passive onlooker hoping for our turn. The key is to find happiness in the present, regardless of the situation.
