Over the weekend, I noticed something on Instagram. The posts people connected with most were stories about struggles someone had gone through. Not just the struggle, but what came after it.
It got me thinking about how easy it is to remember a difficult time only by how hard it was.
And then I wondered what we might notice if we looked at those moments a little differently.
Maybe a closed door sent you somewhere unexpected.
Maybe a situation that tested you left something behind that you still carry today.
I wonder how different your story might look if you could see what you've gained from what you've been through.
Not everything that happened was good.
But some of it changed you in ways you didn't recognize at the time.
