Respond To What's In Front Of You

Ever notice how old memories quietly shape how you see today and tomorrow? Why does the past still get a vote?

How often does your past sneak in and steal a moment that belongs to today, and maybe even tomorrow too?,

I catch myself doing it more than I like to admit. One old memory, one mistake, and suddenly I am reacting to life as if it is still happening.

But it is not. It is done. Yet I still carry the feeling like it is proof of who I am.

What if it is just information, not a life sentence? What if holding on once felt safe, but now it is just heavy?

You deserve to respond to what is in front of you, not what is behind you.
