"When you find yourself stressed, ask yourself one question: Will this matter in 5 years from now? If yes, then do something about the situation. If no, then let it go. "

How Can You Tell Good Stress From Bad?
I think we've all been here. Some stress pushes us forward. It can help us focus before a big meeting, motivate us to finish a project, or give us the energy to handle something important. That kind of stress usually fades once the task is done.
Then there's the other kind - the kind that lingers. It's heavy, draining, and keeps you up at night. It makes you feel stuck instead of moving forward. That's the kind you need to pay attention to because it can wear you down if you ignore it.
Here's one way to tell the difference: after the stressful moment passes, check in with yourself. Are you feeling relieved and lighter? That's probably good stress. Still tense, anxious, or replaying it in your mind hours later? That's a warning sign.
If it's the unhealthy kind, take a breath and step back. Ask the question in today's quote. Give yourself permission to let go of what doesn't matter long term.
You have more say over your stress than you think. You can choose to respond in ways that protect your mind, your body, and your peace. And that choice - moment by moment - can change everything.
Take care and use stress wisely,
Love and blessings,
Marlene
