Today's quote brings to the surface a reminder that the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence. People everywhere have problems; ask them. Some people have serious or unbelievable issues to deal with. Others have problemss that seem so small that we wonder why they are bothered by them.

Sometimes, we get lost in our world and forget that we are lucky to be here, lucky to have people who care about us, lucky to have jobs, food, and shelter, etc. No matter where you live or work, there will always be someone who has it better than you and someone who has it worse than you. We can't worry about that fact or let it upset our lives.

Can we learn to be happy and joyful each day despite our problems? Yes! How? By making a conscious decision to look for the good in life, to be the good in life. We are in charge of our attitudes and know that if we stay positive, we are better prepared to handle the problems and opportunities life gives to us.

Please remember that we are strong people, with tender hearts and creative minds, who will handle whatever life throws at us the very best we can.
