How Aware Are You?

Sometimes I notice comments on social media, text messaging, or email that puzzle me. Some people can be apt to say things that are negative and hurtful as a habit, then think they can apologize later, and everything will be all right.

They talk about how positive they are, yet the negative creeps in, and off they go. Perhaps you've encountered this too.

By nature, I am peaceful, trying to share goodness and kindness with others. Some of what I am saying and doing will rub off on others, and they, too, will decide to live a peaceful life.

Peaceful does not mean boring, but to me, it means understanding that whatever you say or do goes out into the world and affects everyone, whether you know it or not. If you want to help yourself and others, speak positively, and make sure your actions match your words.
