What Are You Capable Of?
Surprisingly, not many of us know our full capabilities because we don't push ourselves. Would you agree that we find a niche, settle in, and forget to keep looking further? Have you stopped working on your development as a person because of some limiting beliefs you might have and may not know about?
Years ago, I met a successful entrepreneur who organized live events for his network of motivated people. These seminars featured some of the top trainers and speakers in the world. As I was considering working with this man, he invited me to attend some of the events so I could see for myself and hear the positive messages that made these seminars so powerful.
I am a big believer in continuous learning and applying the knowledge so that I can help as many people as possible. What I found at the webinars, in addition to all the valuable information, was encouragement and hope. Every speaker had their own story to help the audience understand where they had been, what was working and what wasn't, why they had to change, and what they did about it.
If you ask yourself or dream about, "What if I could...?" "What would life be like if...?" you understand.
As a coach, I help people find clarity about what is working and what needs improvement and develop their plan to reach their goals.
Next week, I will share a fun exercise called the Wheel of Life. I know it opened my eyes to areas I can improve upon. Maybe it will help you too.
Remember, the only real contest is between who you are and who you want to be.
