Two Things You Can Do To Help Yourself

Do you know someone who is unbelievably kind and overlooks the faults of others, preferring to look for the good in them? I know people like that, and it is humbling to see them in action.

If you have ever been bullied or belittled, made fun of, or excluded, you can live a life that doesn't repeat these sad interactions with others. Moving from victim to victor is a mind shift. You do it so you don't repeat the behaviors that you experienced that left you feeling less than you are.

The positive news is that a change in how you view yourself and others can happen anytime you desire. Yes, any time. You have the power of choice and the power to change what doesn't work for you.

This week, I offer this challenge: Can you be, not try to be, a little nicer? Could you be less critical or blinder to the faults of others? I think you can and if you accept the challenge, at the end of the week, let me know what happens for you. You don't have to stop after one week; keep going. With practice and a sincere desire, you could be better at this than you imagine.

It will be a good day because I will make it that way. So can you! Take care!
