Quote Of The Day:

"You don't have to change that much for it to make a great deal of difference. A few simple disciplines can have a major impact on how your life works out in the next 90 days, let alone in the next 12 months or the next 3 years. "

Choosing Change With Intention
Change is a funny word. By this stage of life, most of us have learned it rarely asks for permission. It shows up anyway. A relationship changes. A role ends. Someone we counted on is suddenly no longer there. Those moments can leave us recalibrating, replaying things, trying to figure out when the ground shifted beneath us.
But there is another kind of change. The quieter kind. The kind that does not come from loss, but from awareness. The kind we choose.
Self-initiated change is not about starting over. It is about paying attention. Noticing where your energy leaks. Recognizing the habits, reactions, or stories you have outgrown. And asking, honestly, What is no longer serving me? No judgment. Just clarity.
It often shows up in small moments. You catch yourself reacting the same old way and pause. That pause matters more than it seems. Catch yourself there. That is a moment of strength. Awareness creates space, and space gives you options.
You do not need to reinvent your life. You just make a slightly better choice today, then do it again tomorrow. Let it repeat. Let it settle. Over time, those small decisions compound.
Eventually, they reshape your days. Then your habits. And, quietly, your direction.
So maybe the real question is not whether change is coming - it is whether you are ready to choose one small shift and see where it leads.
Thanks for everything and take care!
Love and blessings, Marlene
