Okay, maybe you don't think you're in sales, but you are.

Think about this. Each day, you contribute to your family, friends, and work environment. Dynamics in each arena always change, and your ability to adapt, learn new skills, and approaches, can successfully move you forward. How well you perform or sell yourself relies solely on you. In other words, you're selling yourself to your "internal customers."

With few exceptions, YOU HAVE TO PRACTICE TO BE REALLY GOOD AT ANYTHING.

Okay, so you still are saying that you're not in sales, so let's say you're a golfer. Could you be a great golfer without any practice? Highly unlikely. A singer, a musician? I know they rehearse. (Rehearsing is called practice) What about a software engineer or developer? You can't become good at either job if you don't practice. Don't get me started on sports :-)

How do professional salespeople make their jobs look easy? They rehearse all the time. I know, I was one of them. Whether in your car, office, or home, you're always practicing something. It could be new material, tone of voice, or how you will answer questions.

Maybe a little more practice will get you over that hump standing in your way.
