I think this is a great question to ask. What would your life look like?

If you didn't have the courage to attempt anything in your life, would you be fearful of everything, real or imagined? Would you ever know unconditional love or heartache? Sadness or joy or so many other emotions. Would you ever know the pleasure of transportation or social outings?

You would maybe feel numb in many situations, timid or uninterested. It doesn't sound like a full and vibrant way to live to me.

Remember, anything you try, you run the risk of failure... yet you also have the possibility of success.

If you are satisfied with the mundane, sheltered life, one without risk or reward, that's okay because it is your choice. But if you want more, find the courage that lives within you and try - experiment - take a chance and see what happens. It could turn out to be a beautiful life, better than anything you could have ever imagined.
