Life Coaching; What Is It?

How is your life going right now? Are there areas you need to work on? What have you tried doing? How is that going?

Everyone gets stuck in their life, at times. People want to break through any barriers holding them back, and many can do it alone.

But what if you can't? Who do you turn to? A friend, a family member, a co-worker? All good choices. What are the expectations? Do you want someone to tell you what to do? Will you follow their advice?

Most of us have had some form of "coach" in our life, usually a sports coach. They assess a player's ability and help them improve their skill level. It is a great relationship for many, and the lessons learned from a great coach stay with the individual their entire lives.

A life coach is different. A life coach doesn't tell you what to do, as a sports coach does. A life coach should help you get clarity on where you want to go, be curious about what's been holding you back, and discover specific action steps to get results together.

Of course, there is much more to life coaching; I just wanted to clarify any confusion about what a life coach is. Please know that if you need some help, I would love to talk with you.
