Are You A Professional?

Every professional, no matter the type of work you do, be it a homemaker, salesperson, customer support, entrepreneur, executive, or an artist, knows you have to be ready, so when your moment comes, you'll be there.

You have to be on top of your game every day. Most of the time, you are present in the moment with what needs to be done. Other times, you might make excuses for why you can't be somewhere, meet with someone, or have your part of the project completed. In most cases, it's called fluffing off, and most of us have done it.

Now, if you need to take a break, a vacation, or a sabbatical, there's nothing wrong with that. It might be just what you need. So if it is, take one and refresh yourself. But when you fluff off, you leave the door open for someone else to take your place. Remember, you take a break for yourself so that you can excel once you get back.

Until those moments of rest arrive, be ready, be willing, and able to do whatever it takes to get up, dress up and show up. When you do, you have a better chance of having successful moments in your day.
