We forget that, don't we? We think if we line up the facts, people will nod and say, "Oh yeah, makes sense." But it rarely works like that. People run on what they feel inside - fear, hope, excitement, even pride.

So here's a thought. Next time you're in a tough conversation, slow down. Pay attention to the tone, the little pauses, the look in their eyes. That's where the truth usually sits.

If you can meet them there, in that space, the rest gets easier.

Logic might matter later, but connection always comes first. It takes patience, sure. But it also gives you power, the good kind. The kind that builds trust.
