How You Can Show Real Gratitude

I just want us to take a quiet moment and really feel the weight of what so many men and women in our armed forces have given. Not in a heavy way, but in a grateful way. Because some people said yes when the rest of us stayed home.

Today is about the men and women who put on a uniform and stepped into the unknown and carried things we will never fully understand. And while we honor them, it also reminds us of something important: courage lives in ordinary people.

They faced long nights, distance from home, and a level of responsibility most of us will never touch.

We honor them because they gave their time, their strength, and sometimes more than we can ever repay.

And their families stood beside them through every moment of it.

If you cross paths with a veteran today, even a simple thank you matters. Let them feel seen. Let them feel valued.

And if you're someone carrying memories or heaviness from service yourself, I hope you give yourself a breath today. If something rises up inside you, catch yourself. That's a moment of power.

You get to choose how to move forward, one step at a time.

You've still got purpose. Keep going.
