Who Might Be Changed Today?

I believe today's quote speaks to something simple, yet powerful: don't be afraid or question your ability to love. No matter who you are, where you live, how old you are, or how well you know someone, everybody needs love in their life.

Consider this: Have you ever felt awkward telling someone you loved them? Or maybe it never even crossed your mind to say it out loud. Why is it so hard to express something you can feel so clearly inside?

For years, I've included love and blessings as part of my signature, often ending messages with "I love you," no matter who I was corresponding with. To me, it felt natural. Honest. Like the truest way to show up.

What surprised me were the responses.

I had men who visited MotivateUs.com tell me that before we traded emails, they had never ended a note with love. Ever. They shared how freeing it felt once they started. How something shifted inside them. How it didn't make them weaker, but more grounded. More real.

Don't get me wrong, I understand that not every business situation is set up for a "love" signature, even when you genuinely care about your customers or clients. But I've always done things a little differently. I'm a rebel in that way. I listen to my heart. And each day, it feels wonderful to send love out into the world.

And that's where this quote really lands.

Because love isn't something you earn or qualify for. It's not reserved for close friends, perfect timing, or special moments. It's a capacity we already have. A gift we often forget we're allowed to use.

Maybe the real question isn't why saying love feels hard, but why we hesitate when something feels true. We sense it, then second-guess ourselves.

When that happens, notice it. That's one of those quiet moments where choice lives. You can pull back, or you can lean in.

Love doesn't weaken you - it grounds you. It reminds people they matter, and it reminds you who you are.

So what if today you trusted that instinct? What if love didn't need permission, just expression? Who might be changed by something you almost didn't say?
