Foundations of Character

How does your character shine through? By good examples. We all know that our actions speak louder than words.

Your character is not built during the easy times when there don't seem to be any problems. Character is built and tested when you are stressed, struggling, and in pain. How you respond during those times speaks volumes about who you are and how you handle tough situations.

Everyone will falter and act out of character, sometimes. Apologize and move forward. Look for the lesson in each situation because it is there, even though you might not see it. Get back to true you and continue to be the person you are: kind, loving, caring, and courageous.

You never know who will be inspired by your character and how you carry yourself. Will it be your children, someone you work with, a friend, or someone you don't know?
