I believe in love and peace, something many people don't know about. I also believe that if you just reached out to one person this season and shared a peaceful encounter filled with love from your heart, you could make a real difference.

Have you ever heard of a secret donor, a secret Santa, or an earth angel? These people do something nice for someone else without letting the other person know. Those who give anonymously pay it forward by doing little kind acts of generosity.

Perhaps they buy the meal for the person behind them in the drive-through or donate a few gifts to a family they know is struggling. It doesn't have to be a big amount of money spent. It just comes to their hearts because they love doing something good for others.

We need more people like the secret angels, and you could be one of them. How? Maybe donate the coffee that comes with your breakfast to someone else, drop gifts off at a shelter, or send a little cheer to a neighbor who lives alone. You see, it's not hard to do; there are many ways of showing love. All you have to do is do it.

If you can remember that love heals people, I'm sure you would want to be more loving to everyone (including yourself) so that we can all enjoy a more loving and peaceful world. It's up to you and me to be examples for others. Don't be afraid to do something nice for someone else. You do it for them, but you are also doing it for you. The feelings you will experience may take your breath away and change how you view paying it forward by giving back.
