"This is the great paradox of living the blessed life: when we give without thought to whether or not we will receive, then we receive. "

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, PARADOX is something (such as a situation) that is made up of two opposite things that seem impossible but are actually true or possible. Here's an example: It is a paradox that computers need maintenance so often since they are meant to save people time.
So it seems that in giving, without expecting anything in return, you usually ending receiving something. That is the paradox. Somehow your brain doesn't think that way. But what if it's true?
What if you receive something today or tomorrow or 20 years from now? You never know when, where, or in what form it could happen. Maybe it has already happened to you.
When you look at your life, have you thought about what you are giving back? During this season of Thanksgiving, and yes, I think it is a season, remember to give of your time, talent, or money generously. We are all still going through this pandemic, so please reach out. Someone, somewhere, will reach back out to you.
It's a beautiful day to be alive!
Share some love and blessings,
Marlene
