The Average Player
The average player sprints until the breath in him is gone,
But a champion has the iron will that makes him carry on.
For rest, the average player begs when limp his muscles grow,
But a champion runs on leaden legs; his spirit makes him go.
The average player is complacent when he does his best to score,
But a champion gives his very best and then he gives a little more.
