If you are a giver, sometimes it's hard to accept that it's okay and necessary to know how to receive too. We ask for blessings, yet we often don't know what to say or do when they show up.
Thank you is the first phrase I can think of to use. I'm grateful is another one. I appreciate it speaks volumes. All of these phrases have such power behind them when said with sincerity.
I have learned that there is no limit to the number of blessings you can give or receive.
Each day, we have the opportunity to be a blessing for someone else. Most of the time, it's in the little things we do for them. Think of all the ways you can positively affect someone's life. Those are blessings. Others can be a blessing to you, too, in similar ways.
If need be, practice saying out loud, "Thank you, I appreciate what you did for me. I am grateful for the opportunity to let you know." When you say this from your heart, the other person can feel it, and a new bond is born.
