Release What You Keep Holding Onto
Imagine feeling lighter just by releasing what you keep holding onto.
Let me say it like this... holding on can feel like strength, but most of the time it is just weight. And the longer you carry it, the heavier it gets.
There comes a point where you have to ask yourself, what am I still trying to prove by keeping this alive in my mind? Because it is not changing anything back there. It is only shaping how you show up right now.
I came across this line this morning, "All healing is first a healing of the heart," and that hits deep. The heart does not heal by replaying old stories. It heals when you give it room. Space. A little grace.
Letting go is not about pretending it did not matter. It mattered. You felt it. You learned from it. But you are not meant to live there.
You have something happening right now. This moment. This breath. This chance.
So maybe the real question is... are you willing to meet your life where it is today, instead of where it used to be?
