What Have You Been Given?
We throw that word around a lot, don't we? Gifted. Usually when someone scores big, wins often, or makes something look easy. But I think it goes deeper than that.
Yes, we're all born with gifts. Little sparks inside us that make us different from the next person. Maybe it's how you listen. Maybe it's how you solve problems. Maybe it's how you refuse to quit when things get hard. Those are real gifts.
But being gifted? That feels different to me. That's when you choose to use what you've been given. When you show up with heart. When you give effort even when no one is watching. When your desire pushes you past comfort.
I've seen people with raw talent waste it. And I've seen people with average ability outwork everyone in the room.
Guess who changes lives? Guess who grows?
So let me ask you... what have you been given? And more importantly, what are you doing with it? Has it shaped how you live? Has it made you braver?
Maybe being gifted isn't about what you have. Maybe it's about what you decide to do with it.
