What Is Resilience?

The ability to bend without breaking.
The ability to keep going even when everything in you says quit.

But is resilience something we are born with?

I think we are born with a spark, sure, but resilience becomes real only when life gives us reasons to use it.

It comes from showing up through hard days, from leaning into support, from choosing not to let one moment define us.

Resilience is not something most of us wake up with. We build it as we go, usually without even noticing. Every tough moment adds a layer. Every setback teaches us something we did not know before.

And there is something I want to put right on the table: whatever you have faced, whatever is sitting heavy on you right now, there is more strength in you than you see.

You might not feel it today, and that is normal. Strength does not always roar. Sometimes it is just you getting up, trying again, and refusing to disappear from your own life.

Today is simply another chance to rise, learn, and find your way forward with courage and hope leading the way.
