Who Is There For You?

I think you know who you can count on, to help you as you go through some rough spots and joyous ones too. These are the jewels in your life. Their strength, compassion, and care look like a beacon, lighting the path so you can see what is in front of you.

And here's the thing - those people aren't loud about it. They don't have to be. It might just be the way they sit with you when words don't come, or how they quietly remind you that you've got more strength in you than you realize. It doesn't take a big crowd to steady you.

Sometimes one person is enough to shift the whole weight you've been carrying. You know who those people are.

Hold on to them. Appreciate them. And remember, you have the same chance to be that light for someone else.

That's the real gift; that's what makes it all come full circle.
