"Forgiving your best friend would be one of the hardest things to do. In the bible it says to forgive and forget. When my mother told me that, it really hit me hard. I still don't understand how you can forgive someone that hurt you so bad but what I learned at the end is that not forgiving your best friend or someone close to you is not only hurting them but you too."

One thing I would love teens my age to learn is that things don't always go the way you want. But at the end, you might end up the stronger person. I've been having a lot of trouble with this girl who used to be my best friend. After she moved away for about a month or two, she came back here and ever since we were never as close as before. We were like sisters and we were so happy. Then another girl came and moved from Virginia and she became her new best friend and never has time for me. I found in my heart to forgive the other girl but now I need to forgive my EX-best friend. We are trying to go back to the way it was but I think we both know that it's never going to be like it was before. The more I think about this, the easier it is for me to forgive someone. I hope this helps some of you as much as it did me.

I have been a runner now going on five years. I have always been a mediocre runner until I came to Liberty. When I began letting God into my life, my life was completely changed and the goals I set for myself were shattered. I have achieved more then I ever wanted because I let god control my heart. It's spirit week at my high school and as an active junior board member, I volunteered to start decorating the hallway. Tonight's task was to make a giant magic lamp. There were about six of us and we weren't all really great friends, and it took over 2 hours. We had so much fun together, trying to figure out how to mold chicken wire and cover it with gold-spray painted newspaper. When we ran into problems, we were there for each other to keep the mood light.

A friend came to me and said that he had lost everything and wanted to kill himself. I told him that he was looking too far in the past and that he could gain everything in the future. He almost made it.
