"When you fall, get back up on your feet, try again and don't give up."
Written in 2010 by Maddie J., Age 14 --- Pennsylvania

"There is always a next time."
Written in 2009 by Amit C., Age 17 --- India
In life, many people quit just after trying a single time thinking that they will never succeed in it. To them I say, "Just forget the previous one and give yourself another chance."

"Don't waste your time with fear; fear won't keep you safe from being hurt."
Tiffanie DeBartolo --- Submitted by Bella G. Age 18 --- California

"Doing something wrong is kinda like tying your shoes to each other. Seems funny at the time but not a smart decision. You try to move on and walk but you fall because you have that knot bringing you down. The more you try to struggle and walk, without untying that knot, the tighter, harder and worse it becomes to go back and fix it. If you don't solve your problem and fix your knots, you're never going to be able to walk on."

Major quote to get over failure.

"Never be an option. Be a priority. Don't just take what you can get. Demand. (:"

"All of us have problems and we are looking for answers. Instead of looking for answers, why don't you look for God? God gives us the problems so that we can look for him for the answers."
Author Unknown --- Submitted by Elisha C., Age 13 --- Philippines
There was one time that I had a problem and I couldn't solve it. When night came, I called God for answers. But I really didn't think that he would answer me. In the morning something happened which turned out to solve my problems and then I remembered God. Since then, I always tell my problems to God and as always, God answers them.

"Never care about what the world thinks about you because you are not born to do that. Just do what you want, but make sure whatever you do will not harm anyone."
Author Unknown --- Submitted by Nidhi G., Age 16 --- India
I have selected this because it helps me to gain confidence whenever I try to do something.

"I got exposed at a tender age and I lost my pride. I continued searching for happiness but when I thought I had found one, my heart got shattered. I felt like killing myself but then I remembered:if one doesn't fail once, one cannot succeed. And I stood up to fight the shadows clouding me and am happy to write now that I am the happiest person on earth. I believe every grief stricken personcan make it. STAND UP TO FIGHT YOUR PAST."

I selected this because I once felt what some people are feeling now and I would like them to learn from my experience.

"My heart is a notebook in which a number of secrets have been written."
Written in 2010 by Abdul S., Age 16 --- Pakistan

"She who protects her heart for fear of loss, ends up with no heart at all - just an empty chest."

"Peace is an unnatural phenomenon. That is why it gives us the reason to work for it."

"Many people ask what is beauty? My answer: You are the beauty!
If you weren't part of the world, it wouldn't be as beautiful."
Written in 2010 by Belinda N., Age 19 --- United Kingdom

"Often times I run into numerous types of people. And often times I hear them say they were not destined to do this or that and some types are more daring to try things. Well, what I say is, 'There's no such thing as destined because god gave us a pair of hands and we create our own destiny.'"

"Winners are not the ones blessed with the luck, charm and all the miraculous capabilities; they are the ones who never stop trying after they fail."
Written in 2010 by Varun Arora
Many of my friends are always disheartened as they think they cannot do well. It's not only that a intelligent person can be a winner, a person who keeps aiming towards his goal again and again can also be a winner. A winner is a person with the never lose attitude.

"You thought that education was not important but someday you're going to realize that education is the key to all the problems."
Author Unknown --- Submitted by Elisha C., Age 13 --- Philippines
I realized this when I stopped going to school.

"A smile is a way to solve many problems and silence is a way to avoid many problems - so please keep a silent smile."
Author Unknown --- Submitted by Ankit C., Age 17 --- India
This touches my heart and inspires me to always be HAPPY.

"Live off what life gives you, not what it takes away."

"I will be the best, someday."

Best motivation for me!

"Today is a beautiful day and we should thank God for it and be thankful that we wake up every day. Be thankful for all that you have because it can be gone tomorrow. Live for today, not for tomorrow, because we can all be gone from this world in a blink of a eye. Tomorrow will come so don't rush the days by."
Written in 2010 by Marie M., Age 17 --- South Carolina

"No matter where you are in life, there's always that one other person you can turn to besides God and that's YOU. When you're going through, praise God and look into your inner self and just think of all the things you're going through as stepping-stones to better you for that next challenge. You're going to overcome it all so soon; don't give up, just keep striving, it'll be all worth it in the long run. Always be dependent on yourself and God, because you and He will never let you down."

I wish I could be free like a bird,
and swim the ocean like a fish.

I wish I could run like a cheetah,
and be a star in the night's sky,

I wish he would love me
like I love him.

And I wish I could be a stone in a river,
seeing the world around live free,
and feel the fresh air on my face.

I wish I could be a wild horse,
galloping freely over the hills in my herd,
and feeling free for once in my life.

Well... who said wishes don't come true?

This world is brilliant in itself;
you just have to look harder.
