"Teaching the student knowledge is not just having them earn an A in your class - it's knowing that they learned it."
Written in 2006 by George D., Age 16 --- California
This is my personal quote. I would like teachers to make the student want to be in the class, not just sit there and wish him/her the best. As students, we see the teacher as our leader and want them to teach and help us to be motivated to learn, not just read the textbook or handouts. We learn what you teach and we use it - so make the best of this year.

This is a comment that I made to my students one day in class. I was trying to motivate them to try to dothe best they could on everything they did. Some of the kids really liked it and it became kind of ourclassroom slogan.
