When I first started teaching people how to use computers (it was in the early 70s), there were a lot of people who suffered from cyberphobia-- the fear of computers. I started each class by stressing the importance of learning this new tool, yes tool. Over 2,000 years ago someone invented writing, then someone invented the pencil, then pen. The computer is also a tool which every industry will sooner or later be affected by. So, start learning this tool and the skills now.

"Follow your passion for any work that you do. It makes work a lot easier and enjoyable. Work with no passion is dull, so never give it up for something else!"
Written in 2005 by Lydia Y., Age 16 --- Singapore
I have seen through a lot of people fail or lose interest in their work because they find it cumbersome, something not worth their effort and time. But, I have also seen people who have followed what they like to do. The difference is really drastic. Those who followed their passions turned out to find life more interesting than those who didn't. I hope you too will follow your passions, no matter how tough it is. After all, life isn't a bed of roses!
