How Do You Want To Live?

It's Your Own Choice

Face to face -
With winds unfavorable,
With waves formidable,
A thin line -
Separates victory from defeat,
Courage or cowardice,
Conquer or compromise -
It's your own choice.

People all around -
Your actions may criticize,
Out of hatred or prejudice;
It's easy to retort -
And show your malice;
To get lost in trivialities,
Or above them rise,
It's your own choice.

Time passes by -
In seconds, minutes and hours,
In days, months and years,
Piling up yesterdays -
Dwindling tomorrows;
You don't get a life twice,
Waste it, utilize,
It's your own choice.
