I'm tired of living for other people. I'm tired of trying to make everyone else happy. You know what happens when you do that? You're miserable! You know why you're miserable? Because you're forgetting
that happiness is inside, in your heart and in your mind.
Live your goals and your dreams. Make your own mistakes and learn. Mistakes and failure teach you much more about yourself than victory ever could. So fail. Get knocked down, tripped up, and lose sometimes.
No one's ever reached the summit of Mt Everest, looked down and said, "That wasn't worth it." Because it was worth it. Every mistake, every trip, fall, and scrape makes that final step that much more gratifying.
When all you've known is struggle, pain, and disappointment and you reach that mountaintop, that at one point wasn't even visible, it's pure bliss. Bliss sweetened by an agonizing journey. But it's a journey
you wouldn't trade for the world because everything up until that point molded you into who are on that day.
So find your mountaintop. Scrape a knee or two on the way up but don't be held back by the opinion of others because everyone's climb is their own. And that final step can only be taken by you and you alone.
