"Every second in life there is a choice to be made. So far, you've chosen to live every second."

To me, life is about choice. You are here now in this moment because you are resilient! Bad times come and go, and you continue to make it through. Life is long-lived; every second of it!

"To follow without halt, one aim; there is the secret of success. And success? What is it? I do not find it in the applause of the theater. It lies rather in the satisfaction of accomplishment."

"Into every life comes some rain. Some people run for shelter covering their heads. My advice... If you are going to get wet anyway, kick off your shoes, throw back your head, open your eyes and dance."

The only thing that you will achieve from running for cover is being out of breath. Dance and you learn that being wet can sometimes feel good. If it doesn't, coming inside after embracing the rain and drying off is a wonderful feeling!

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed immaturity. Immaturity is the inability to use one's understanding without guidance from another. This immaturity is self-imposed when its cause lies not in the lack of understanding, but in the lack of resolve and courage to use it without guidance from another. Have courage to use your own understanding!"
Immanuel Kant

"A good character is the best tombstone. Those who loved you, and were helped by you, will remember you when forget-me-nots are withered. Carve your name on hearts, and not on marble."
