This is a quote from a teacher at my old school. It said a lot to me when I first heard it, and now, when I'm going through a time where I feel my successes are not enough in comparison to others', it's comforting to know that I don't have to be the best, as long as I do my best.

This is not the actual quote; it is how I remember it roughly. I try to live my life by this and by a lyric, ' Life's too short to be afraid, step inside the sun.' I have this painted on my porch wall. Over the last year, whilst dealing with Breast Cancer, all my fears have fallen away...well except the one about flying. I have come to see that we all live in fear, fear of what will happen, of what the neighbors will say, of the car breaking down, the bank repossessing, fear for our children, our friends, our loved ones. I now try to live without fear. I don't manage it all the time, but I do for oh, about 80% of the time, I no longer fear opening the mail, answering the phone, talking to my bank - talking to anyone in fact! I have always been a confident person, but now, I am both confident andassertive. I am living my life in the light, with the help of the Angels.
