    LOST

    For many nights I lay awake
    The cold moon shining upon my dreary face
    Somehow I've changed from gold to dust
    How this came to pass I do not know
    And now that dust is imprisoned in a dark cold stall

    How I got here I may never know
    I often feel as though I am not my own
    I belong to a superior, one of another kind
    One older and wiser than I shall ever be
    So they want me to think

    But in this dark cold stall I've had time to ponder, time to think
    These chains of power may imprison my soul no longer
    For I am human, I am not inferior or superior to anything on this earth
    I belong to myself and not to others

    The want and creed for power upon this earth
    Has drowned me in a puddle of innocence
    But I shall drown no longer
    For through my mind and thoughts I have regained a part of myself

    It has given me hope
    Hope that one day this long and perilous war
    Shall be over and I will be freed
    All in good time they say

    But time is not one that I wish to waste
    Time is precious
    And I have no idea how much of it belongs to me
    For that is not for me to decide

    But what I do with that gift Is entirely my own sole decision

    TIME

    Sometimes when hours in my day seem so short for the task
    I find God's intervention I must ask
    To take control and show me the way
    To use each hour as He needs me today
    For today will soon come to a close
    And the future of tomorrow only God knows

    God gave me time I spent it as if it was only mine to keep
    I found all I did was complain and whine and face failure and defeat
    God gave me time I saw it as a very precious gift from Thee
    I learned God could provide the lift stress was causing in me
    God showed me time in a different way
    To see a much brighter and joyous day

    With each deadline I must meet
    I needed to remember the most important appointment to keep
    Making time through out my day
    Gods' answers to seek taking time to periodically pray
    For Gods' protection and love to those who are weak.

    God showed me a much better way
    To redeem the time I am given today
    By including God in all I do and say
    For I have learned a lesson I will remember forever
    God and time are linked together

    And no matter rain or shine or stormy weather
    All things do get better
    For God centered around time and the peace and comfort it brings
    Can bring beauty and joy to all things

    Communication Breakdown

    As technology in communication increases,
    Human communication decreases.
    It was supposed to make things better in our life,
    But stop and look and listen to the strife.
    There is not one conversation without curse,
    Not one sentence with verse.
    No poetry to the soul,
    No purpose and no goal.

    Rapidly the world as we know it gains a new master,
    Our children growing into disaster.
    Can we stop the darkness bestowed on us?
    Or should we stop it? Why all the fuss?

    It is a roller coaster uncontrolled and we know it,
    We all can change or just quit.
    The latter I'm afraid is what we've chosen now,
    But there is a better way and only Jesus can show you how.

    Seek and you shall find peace in your days,
    Keep searching and he will show you ways.
